I recently took an adult hop hop class at Ballet Austin and was amazed at how many adults made the commitment to drive downtown on a weeknight and deal with traffic and parking just for the chance to dance and learn something new. While there I enjoyed watching the younger children get excited about the classes they were taking as well, and was reminded of the fond memories I had from my own dance experiences as a child and teen.
I believe in the importance of creative expression and the mental and physical benefits that dance provides. I want to create The Dance Company to give children and adults the opportunity of expression, creativity, artistry, and joy.
Let's Dance
The Dance Company will be a new, vibrant dance studio located in South Austin dedicated to providing high-quality dance instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to cultivate a community of passionate dancers by offering a diverse range of dance styles taught by experienced instructors in a welcoming and inclusive environment. With a focus on excellence, creativity, and individual growth, The Dance Company aims to become the premier destination for dance education and exploration in the area.
We will offer a wide variety of dance classes including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, and more. Our classes will cater to all age groups, from toddlers to adults, and will be structured to accommodate both beginners and experienced dancers.
In addition to group classes, the space will be available for rent for private lessons or individual dance time.
